A collaboration with MIT's Educational Justice Institute,
and partners Brave Behind Bars,
The Transformational Prison Project, and Odessa Health.

In June 2024 The Opening the Heart Workshop and it's partners were awarded a grant for a year-long training for young violent offenders. It's purpose is to train pre-release, or formerly incarcerated people, to serve their community as peacemakers and leaders.
